Apply These Terms In An RFQ

Answer-First Reference

Definitions For Custom Lunchware Projects.

This glossary explains how Naike uses common B2B sourcing terms. It is a planning reference, not a substitute for the signed specification, contract, test method or destination-market review for a specific project.

When a term affects price, tooling, performance or approval, write the exact condition into the RFQ instead of relying on the term alone.

Approved Configuration

The exact combination of product model, components, materials, colors, branding and packaging accepted as the basis for quotation or production.

Approved Sample

The physical or documented reference accepted by the buyer. It should be linked to the current specification, artwork and any open points before production release.

Platform Customization

A development route that keeps an existing product architecture while changing approved options such as color, logo application, set composition or packaging.

Targeted Functional Modification

A controlled change to a selected feature such as a divider, lid, latch, carry interface or accessory relationship. Tooling and validation scope depend on the change.

New-Mold Development

A development route for creating distinct product geometry or mechanisms through an approved design, engineering, tooling, ownership and validation brief.

System Architecture

The planned relationship between the lunch box, containers, drinkware, utensils, cold-control elements, carry bag and service parts.

Bag-To-Box Fit

The dimensional and handling relationship between a container system and its carrier, including insertion, removal, closure clearance and space for accessories.

Leak-Control Boundary

The exact compartment, seal, lid and use condition covered by a leak-control requirement. A claim should identify food type, fill level, orientation and carry period.

Food-Contact Component

A part intended to contact food under the approved use conditions. Material and document requirements should be reviewed by component and destination market.

Destination-Market Evidence

The current documents, test reports, declarations or buyer protocols requested for the exact product, material, intended use and market.

MOQ Per Configuration

The minimum order quantity applied to one approved combination of model, color, decoration, components and packaging unless the quotation states otherwise.

Export Pack-Out

The approved arrangement of product, accessories, retail packaging, assortment ratios, carton marks, master cartons and shipment-stage checks.

Inspection Checkpoint

A defined review of a material, dimension, appearance condition, assembly, function, quantity, label or package at an agreed production stage.

Change Control

The record used to identify what changed after approval, who accepted it and whether specifications, evidence, samples or inspection plans also need revision.
